The drug Abiranamo 250 mg with the active substance abiraterone acetate is a drug aimed at combating prostate cancers in the last stages.
This remedy slows down the biosynthesis of androgens and an enzyme that is directly involved in their production. Abiraterone lowers the concentration of male sex hormones (including testosterone). Due to this, the malignant tumor stops growing, and subsequently gradually decreases in size. The use of Abiraterone acetate in the treatment of patients with prostate cancer was approved in 2011.
